HEAVY LOAD ANNOUNCE NEW SINGLE: 'WE ROCK THE WORLD' & CONFIRM CLASSIC HEAVY LOAD ALBUM 'STRONGER THAN EVIL' (1983) WILL BE AVAILABLE TO STREAM FOR THE FIRST TIME ON SPOTIFY FROM 1ST DECEMBER.

We Rock The World is taken from the band's 40th Anniversary comeback album, Riders of the Ancient Storm.

The band say: “We Rock the World is a rebel yell for all who claim their right to be themselves and to take their place in the world".

40 years after the release of Heavy Load's album Stronger Than Evil, their new album reflects their well-known sound and songwriting, with many songs echoing these pioneers’ famous Viking themes and existential lyrics.

Stronger Than Evil - the band's 1983 release will be available to stream on Spotify from 1st December 2023, including six bonus tracks from the 2018 album re-issue.

Widely regarded as the first Swedish heavy metal band and the first Viking metal band, Heavy Load is believed to have started the Swedish wave of heavy metal. The band was formed by the brothers Ragne and Styrbjörn Wahlquist in the mid-1970s.
